9:59 a.m. + 2008-07-07
hello! :D don't know why i feel like blogging. Anyway, on the weekeneds i went to mama's (my-roomate-back-in-matrics-days) wedding. Congrats mama! :D on saturday, it's at her house, and on sunday, it's at her hubby's house. Apparently, i missed the 'nikah' ceremony :''''(( uuuuuuu. It was fun, i really prefer weddings at home anyway, it got the homey feeling to it, plus we can see the 'bilin pengantin', decorated nicely with all the 'hantaran' :D hehehe. Plus, it's cheaper :D i mean, for me, the point is getting married and hopefully to live happily ever after, not the excessive wedding.
Anyway, on sunday 5pm i was using the internet at home, then suddenly i was having chest pain. A couple of times! really. I guess all those nasi minyak+kurma+kari+sweet dishes that i ate. Plus the syrup drinks to wash down all those stuff. I mean, obviously i don't blame the weddings, as i was the one who really keen to eat all those food. Then i remembered that my dad recently had a heart attack coz he went to 4 consecutive weddings in 1 week. And he ate all the mutton dishes. (He's diabetic, anyway).
Someone should do a study on how much calories these servings actually have! :D
But hey, you can't blame the host for preparing all those delicous stuff. It's the standard. Of course, one could think of serving plain water instead of syrup drinks. But there's always some foul-mouthed who would say "Aik, takkan air kosong je??" Honestly, I really would prefer warm water or mineral water than syrup drinks. But again, I'm not a "syrup" person, and I believe I stand in the minority group. hehe :D
Anyway, there's 3 or 4 ex-UIA student working in Ernst & Young. And do u know what time they went back? 12am. Some of them even sleep in the office. Seious shit! I can't do that, man. Really can't. (sangat manja, kan aku nih? hehe)
And 3 or 4 of my friends are working in IBM. They came home 10 or 11pm! I thought that i had it bad, but pity them. They pay OT but up to 30 hours maximum. My friend said her OT is about 50-60 hours.
Anyway, I'd like to say thank u to the anonymous person(s) who has been leaving their comments, or, err should I say marks, on my page. I mean it's still annoying and agitating, but I appreciate that someone or some people actually visited my blog and notice this blog's existence. Just like that movie "bicential man", all everyone ever wanted was that someone to notice their existence. To notice that they have lived in this world, and share their laughter and tears :D
