(it might be easier if i mention that i currently work at a stockbroking firm, and no it's not as hectic like you would imagine it to be)
anyway yesterday my collegues, a 30++ year old dealer has an exam coming up, license for dealers something something......so he was asking me do u know how to calculate this and that...(basically Financial Management tu la) so i said yes and told him the formula.......to make the story short, i ended up helping him studying (something i really miss..haha) and at the end of the day, he said "hey thanks man!"
I was smiling and beaming proudly, AT LAST they saw me as a man, not just some flimsy girl that has no good :D (so far I'm the only female analyst here)
that reminds me at the Proton launching that i went with my boss, Proton invited journalist and analyst to sit together at the ceremony, and as far as my eyes could see, there were only 6 female analyst seated among hundreds and hundreds of male analyst! when i got back, i ask my collegues "eh memang x ramai analyst pompuan ke? so die reply "a'ah memang x ramai". haha. i guess in this banking investment industry is not suited for woman kot?? the hours it involved is like "shit".
i have a friend who works at maybank (aseambankers) and as far as i can guess is that the earliest he go back home is around 8.30pm.
The latest i went back is at 8.30pm, and because i live in Kajang and travel by public transportation, reached home at 10.30pm, which is 30 minutes past my bedtime (i have to sleep at 10pm because i have to wake up at 5.30am)...tu pon dah rase cam nak nangis sbb tension.
I think guys lain kot, their purpose in life is working to support family, for career...when relatives gather around the 1 thing to boast about is work. Work is their runaway place from wife+family stress.
If working girls kan, dgn anak lagi kemas rumah lagi masak lagi fuuhhh penat man. Tu belom layan karenah laki yg macam2......patot la ramai org skarang divorced. Dpt 2 3 anak pastu cam decide haa xpela hidop dgn anak2 lagi best. Duit cukup2 makan pon x kesah as long as xpening kepala with a dominant husband.
I pity guys nowadays. Life certainly felt bitter for them when there's no female around. hehe :D
(believe me, i know, i watched the whole thing. Guys can't survive without a female companion, be it a wife, mistress, girlfriend, flirt mate, or a hooker)
Contradict me if you can. Love to hear some arguments.
