Hi guys! :D So sorry i've been neglecting my original blog for so long, i forgot the password ':D lucky i remembered it.
Last Friday, I was on my way back to Melaka with my mom, haris, huda and iman. We’ve just reached Alor Gajah toll when there’s sort of a recap conversation between a girl and a deejay (woman) on the radio.
Girl: I don’t know really. My boyfriend, he keeps avoiding when I asked him about marriage.
Deejay: What did he say?
Girl: Everytime he said he’s not ready yet. He has to put his career first.
Deejay: Let’s give him a call to find out.
Tutt..Tutt…
Girl: Why did you do this to me…you didn’t give me any answers…I’m waiting so long already…(in on-the-verge-of-tears voice)
Boyfriend: I told you already, I’m not ready yet...I have to think about my career first.
Girl: If this the case, I don’t see any point of this relationship any longer.
Boyfriend: ….Are you really sure about this?
Girl: Yep.
Boyfriend: OK bye take care (hang-up the phone)
We were like Oh My God!!! :D really…..the boyfriend so kejam one……..I was saying how could he do that blablabla…. he’s really not ready yet and probably will make a bad husband….then my mom said:
When a guy starts a relationship (that is becomes a friend with you), all he wants to do at first is BECOMES A FRIEND with you. A friend is a friend, and all he wants to do is have a companionship, sort of like get to know you. A friend is useful in boring/lonely/weekends time. A friend is for jokes and fun.
They will never think about marriage until the time comes (when life is stable, they have a nice house of their own, a car, and money to spent, and quite large savings in the bank, AND they are bored with their single life, AND actually desires a woman to live with them day and night)
We women always think that when a guy becomes our boyfriend, we feel special, and a boyfriend is always a sign that we’ve moved on, like I used to be single but now I have “him”. Admit it or not, he becomes our obsession, we think about him night and day, through studies/work…he is of course included in our girls chat…and of course we would picture him a loving caring husband, and what would he be like with the children, does he likes cat because you want to have cat in your house in the future…I mean, that sort of things. Marriage is a constant question of when and what year.
When these things happen, we always think that the guy is pressured and stuff like that. My mom said frankly the guy never even think of marriage, and was wondering why you are behaving like this. That’s why the girl will always feels frustrated and stuff.
I guess that’s why everyone keep saying that girls should find older guys to be with, as older guys are stable financially and mentally, and would like to get married someday soon, like we do. :D
